Alexei Brodovitch

This is the work of  Alexei Brodovitch, he was a great designer and worked for man years at Harper's Bazaar. These are a selection of his layouts and a typeface he designed. I really like the work because it is so striking and yet incredibly elegant. All the elements of the page sit together brilliantly. I also think the typeface is amazing due to it' variation in weight of line and bold yet elegant appearance.
