This work is by the Artist Fiona Banner. It's really good to see typography being used well in Art above is a good example. Banners work is very striking and blunt however it has an elegant side that shines through. An example of this is the piece at the top of the page, the neon tubes are an intense bright white light which is then contradicted by the light weight hand bent typeface. She also uses a three dimensional space to place type into I found this really interesting and is something I have been looking at doing with the sign system for Typefactory.
